
Mary Margaret Davies (shown here with her mom) was born and raised in Lutherville, Maryland, and attended Baltimore County Schools and St. Paul's School for Girls. She was a good student who was particularly outstanding in art.
During her early years, she enjoyed sports, especially figure skating. In high school, she was on the varsity teams in basketball, lacrosse and cross-country.
She was a life guard at the Baltimore Country Club for several summers, where she was also responsible for the children's arts and crafts program.
Mary Margaret has been active in youth groups, especially the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools, and loves to go to the FOCUS camp on Martha's Vineyard.

At St. Mary's College of Maryland, she majored in Human Development and prepared for a career in teaching. She did her student teaching in Costa Rica, as well as St.Mary's County schools.
Mary Margaret was also one of the leading scorers on the women's lacrosse team at St. Mary's. Her team finished the 1999 season ranked number 6 in the nation and earned bids to the Division III NCAA Tournament the last two years. In the team photo, she is directly below the second "A" in the banner.
Mary Margaret and John vonRosenberg were married on July 29, 2000. They have moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where both are now teachers.
