Index
Birth Note: Judith was the daughter of Charles Fleming and Susanna Tarleton of New
Kent Co, Virginia. She is often called Judith Churchill Fleming, and
at one time she was thought to have been born a Churchill, in
Middlesex, the daughter of William Churchill, and to have married
Randolph in 1710. A later investigation has shown that there was no
such person as Judith Churchill, nor is Churchill likely to have been
her middle name. See the letters by Anderson and by Railey, published
in the [IT:Reg. Kentucky Historical Soc:IT]., 34:300-305, 1936].
