Note: After coming to Cheyenne as a pioneer, she later lived at the H P
Ranch near Chugwater, Platte Co, Wyoming, and later at 2909 Thomas
Avenue in Cheyenne. Her brother, Charles E. Clay, built a house at
114 West 21st St. for her and their father, Paul, when they moved
there in 1876. Paul returned to Virginia in 1877.

Note: He was a Wyoming pioneer. In 1875 he was a freighter and a
bullwhacker. He first ranched near Chugwater at the WP Ranch ("Ranch
on Mule Creek"). Much later he lived in Cheyenne at 2523 House
Avenue, and he was a 32nd degree Mason. Shaputis cites [IT:WPA,
Wyoming Archives:IT]#177 as reference for the above.
