Margaret Gertrude Davidson Higginbotham (1885-1959)
Mrs. Gertrude Davidson Higginbotham, 74, who moved from Spring Hill
section of South Charleston to Lakeland, Fla., about
eight years ago, died there Monday. Death occurred unexpectedly while
she was attending a church circle meeting.
Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in
Lakeland on Wednesday. The body will be returned for burial
on Friday in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington, Va.
Mrs. Higginbotham is survived by her husband, Beverly M., and a
daughter, Mrs. Harry Lloyd, both of Lakeland; six sons,
Beverly M. Jr. of Buffalo, N. Y., John H. of St. Albans, William K. of
Barstow, Calif., Mark of California and Henry and
Richard, both of Lakeland; and 19 grandchildren.
