Note:   He probably was the B. T. Hunt who, with his "wife and 1 son and 5
daughters", travelled with Asa A. McCully's 1852 wagon train to
Oregon, as did his sister-in-law Mrs. Pocahontas Plamondon. The
Umatilla Agency Immigration roster confirmed that this family of 7 had
arrived on 25 July 1853 at the end of the Oregon Trail, along with her
brother-in-law Plamondon.

Death Note:    Woodard quotes the obituary in the [IT:Daily Oregonian:IT] (Portland)
of 9 June 1863, p.3, col.1, that he died in his 64th year, which would
make him born in 1798/9, at odds with the Censuses; and a cemetery
inventory says he was born 16 January 1801.
